  • In order to pass this decision gate, it is of foremost importance to confirm that the equipment received is in accordance with the drawings and specifications and is ready for assembly and testing in a safe manner in compliance with project requirements
  • Assembly and testing includes the physical work processes that transform drawings, equipment and materials to the determined equipment package and usually includes the following steps:
  1. Assembly of equipment and prefabricated parts
  2. Outfitting
  3. Mechanical completion checks
  4. Testing
  5. Packing/Preserving/Weighing
  • To ensure a smooth transfer from Project/Production to Aftermarket (see DG7), members from Aftermarket’s commissioning team shall take part or preferably execute testing and final mechanical completion activities
