BB2
API 610 Heavy-Duty Between Bearings Pumps
Eureka’s BB2 Process Pumps are heavy-duty, between-bearings centrifugal pumps built for continuous-duty operation in offshore, oil & gas, and industrial process applications. Designed according to the latest API 610 standards, these pumps feature a double suction, double volute design for superior hydraulic balance, reduced vibration, and long operational life.
Available in both vertical and horizontal configurations, Eureka’s BB2 range offers flexible nozzle arrangements and material selections, including Super Duplex, Duplex, AISI 316, and Carbon Steel. With over 1500 units delivered globally, the BB2 pump has a proven record of reliability and performance in the most demanding environments.
All units are designed in accordance with API 610 and NORSOK requirements, comply with the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, and can be ATEX and IECEx certified for use in hazardous environments.

Description
The BB2 is a radially split, double volute, between-bearings centrifugal pump optimized for high-performance, continuous-duty operation. Its robust mechanical construction includes a centerline-mounted casing, deep API 682-compliant seal chamber, and high-efficiency impeller design for cavitation resistance and hydraulic stability.
The modular maintenance design allows replacement of bearings and seals without disturbing the motor or piping. The BB2 supports various nozzle configurations depending on vertical or horizontal layout and is mounted on a fabricated steel baseplate with an integrated drain pan.
Pump Case & Cover
- Radially split casing with double volute design for balanced hydraulic forces
- Drive end cover includes the seal chamber; non-drive end supports journal bearing
Nozzles & Connections
- Vertical pumps: Inline or side-side nozzle configurations
- Horizontal pumps: Top-top or inline arrangements
- ANSI B16.5 300# RF flanges for suction and discharge
Seal Chamber & Shaft Sleeve
- Extra deep API 682-compliant seal chamber
- Supports dual mechanical seals
- Keyed and axially secured shaft sleeves prevent rotation and wear
Impeller & Wear Rings
- Double suction impeller reduces axial load and extends bearing life
- Impeller wear rings shrink-fit and mechanically secured
- Case and cover rings interference-fit and mechanically secured
Bearings & Lubrication
