Description
The fire water pump is a dry mounted single or double suction single-stage centrifugal pump in a horizontal version for standby operation.
The system consists of a horizontal single or double-suction, single-stage centrifugal pump directly driven by a high-speed, turbocharged diesel engine. The cooling system draws water from the pump discharge, eliminating the need for external cooling sources. Power is transmitted via a flexible shaft coupling, allowing smooth engine operation and easy alignment.
All components are mounted on a heavy-duty skid with an integrated drip pan. A PLC-based NFPA 20 control system ensures safe and automated operation. The design is optimized for low complexity and quick access to all maintenance areas.
